Theatre production is my life, and the small and large interworkings of erecting a successful production is not nearly appreciated enough. Those elements are the foundation; it is the necessary pillars that keeps theatre alive. One of those pillars is stage management. Stage management exists at the intersection of artistry and organization, serving as the bridge between creative vision and practical execution. The philosophy I carry with me is grounded in the understanding of how collaborative theatre is. It requires strict structure, communication, trust, thoughtful planning, and leadership. Ultimately, I view stage management as the steady pulse of a production: an often-unseen force that maintains balance, encourages collaboration, and uphold the integrity of the storytelling process from table read to closing night.
